Eplus Tutor Pro by Eguides is an app aimed at e-bike enthusiasts, offering tune-up features and connectivity, but faces issues like crashes and limited reviews.

Warning: The latest firmware version (4.9.0 or higher) is not compatible with the Unlock 32 km/h (20 mph) feature.

Warning: This application is not compatible with EP8 and E7000 engines.

The Eplus Tutor Pro is a software tool developed by Eplus aimed at allowing extensive customization of Shimano electric bikes.

Shimano Steps E8000 and the SC-E8000 display

New Features

Unlock 32 km/h (20 mph) (up to firmware version 4.8.0): The application now enables users to unlock the motor for speeds up to 32 km/h (20 mph) via an in-app purchase.
Note: This update does not permit modification of engine mapping parameters.

Features

ECO FREE: Users can modify the engine mapping for free by reducing factory-set parameters. However, without the 'Race Unlock' feature, setting values beyond the factory defaults is not possible.
Antitheft: The app offers an engine locking feature to help prevent theft.
Unlock 50 km/h (31 mph): Using the Flash Home software (available exclusively for Windows PCs), users can unlock speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). For further information, contact [email protected].
Race Unlock: Accessing this feature requires modifications through the Flash Home software. Once enabled, the app allows users to customize engine mapping parameters, selecting from preset configurations or creating new mappings.
